Cyclone approaching.........

Winds of almost 200 km/h were recorded for several terrifying hours overnight as the storm passed over Creal Reef, a speck in the Coral Sea with a lighthouse and
weather station and not much else.
That was last night. Marcia is now tracking more or less due south towards the towns of Yeppoon, Rockhampton, Gladstone and perhaps even Bundaberg.
“Over the next few hours people around the Yeppoon area will feel gale force winds. We expect the full brunt will be felt around the Yeppoon area,” Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said.
The width of this cyclone is around 70 kilometres, and Queensland emergency authorities are expecting winds around the eye to reach up to 285 km/h.

very worried about our little house at the causeway which is right on the water and in an area that has been evacuated. There goes the deck furniture!
